Whats gains and is easy to fit? Is it better have this or remap?

Well, there's a can of worms right there

They quote 'up to 40%', my bum dyno reckons 190 to 200 bhp but its all subjective really - and there are a number of settings you can try. 

 

Remap will almost certainly give better results, but has zero resale value. Other less obvious pros of the dtuk is probaby unable to be detected, cant accidentally get wiped, and if buying 2nd hand considerably cheaper than a reputable remap.

 

Simple to fit except one of the connectors which is a pain to get to with hands as big as mine - did manage it in the end all through the top of the bonnet.

how did you find this on your car?

I've been very pleased with it. Fitted since March 2016 with zero issues - you do need to spend a little time playing with the settings to find the best one for your car and driving style (some of the more aggressive modes can cause limp mode, easily reset by just turning the car off) but once setup  you forget about it really. FItting is nice and neat if you route the wires away, I mounted mine just in front of the battery.

 

Gives a good shove in the back, far more so than when the car was standard.
