2017 vRS FL Kessy and interior Lights

Featured Replies

Hey, as i didn't get any feedback i create a new topic:

I'm from France, and pick up my vRS FL since a month now,

I found something a bit annoying, and would like to know if it's kind of bug or standard.

in France the new vRS has kessy by default.

So when i park the car, i push the button to switch off the ignition , and then nothing happen... i have to open the driver door to have the ceiling lights switch ON.

Normally they should switch on as soon as you are parked...

I heard from someone that have a vRS pre FL with no kessy and as soon as he removed his key the lights are on...

my headlight button is switch to auto. i even try to unlock the doors but lights stays OFF...

are you experiencing the same ?

I believe i went through all menus but didnt find anything...

Thanks for your help.

Almost certain my Pre FL VRS with Kessy doesn't switch on the interior lights until a door is opened when parking up. They don't illuminate automatically after switching off the ignition.

This seems logical, what if I'm parked up and simply waiting to pick someone up or I'm waiting a few mins before getting out... I wouldn't want to be lit up like a dutch brothel whilst still sat in the car.

Agreed. It is better for the lights to remain off if you have just stopped the engine. You can always turn the interior light on manually if you want to.

Hmm... do they turn on in mine or is it just the centre console lights still on? I think so, that's the logical route. There's no other way for the car to know you are "done".
