Do you mean Fabia @Pepsy

Take it for a service?

Welcome.

It will depend on which Fabia MK2 you have, which dash.

Best ask giving that info in the Fabia Mk2 section, or do a search there are threads giving the different ways for different Fabias.

Yes sorry about spelling, I typed in Tania. It's a 2014 Elegance with the Speedo on the right hand side and the tachometer on the left the odometer button between. The odometer reset button does not twist you just have to press it

If you have a Maxi-Dot display which you should being an Elegance then using the right wiper stalk press and hold on the trip rocker switch which will open the cars menu, navigate to the settings menu and then service and then reset. The service menu might be visible without needing to go into settings.

Alternatively you can try turning car off and holding the 0.0 button on the dash for a couple seconds then turning on the cars ignition while still holding the 0.0 button then waiting a couple seconds before releasing the button.

For cars with the  page and 0.0 buttons

1 With ignition OFF

2 Press and hold RH 0.0  button

3 After 5 seconds, turn on ignition, still pressing 0.0 button

4 After another 5 seconds, release 0.0 button and press LH button and hold for 5 seconds

5  Release button and turn off ignition.

Earlier models with the one trip button

1 With ignition OFF

2 Press and hold trip button

3 After 5 seconds, turn on ignition, still pressing trip button

4 After another 5 seconds, release trip button and  twist the button to the right and hold for 5 seconds

5  Release button and turn off ignition.

For cars with maxidot

Navigate to the status/settings menu and use the service reset option. Note, you will have to have the doors closed and ignition on to access this menu.

Afaik except with maxidot, it is not possible to reset the service indicator unless the spanner is showing that a service due soon/now.

Resetting the service interval will put the computer into fixed service interval mode (372 days / 15000km) or approx 9400 miles. The spanner comes on 1500km (about 900 miles) before the service due now messages start.
