Is there a dedicated or compatible wiring kit for the Rapid Spaceback to connect a cycle carrier lighting board? I think you need a 13-pin plug. I have a 7-pin kit from a MIcra but I guess this won't work. Not thinking of a DIY job I should add!

Yes, there is a specific kit. You need to get it professionally fitted, it needs a lot of trim removing, then the car's software parameters need updating to make it all work. Not a cheap job.

 

Once installed the system detects a trailer fitted, so the lights work correctly. Also when you select reverse the distance sensors are disabled, and a little trailer symbol appears on the display instead.

Hi. After much deliberation I decided I could handle a roof mounted carrier, so ducking the issue, for now at least. Cheers.
