Question, is the front assist and ACC the same senzor ? Can you activate ACC at a later date if so ?

 

As i can see you only need the proper controls for ACC.

They are the same sensor,but you also need camera in the windshield and controls on steering column. So i think it is very hard to retrofit it and it is much cheaper to get it from factory as it is not really expensive.

Are all of this ONLY for ACC or also for lane assist etc ?

Camera is used for lane assist,traffic sign recognition etc. Radar is used for acc and front assist (which i like,but i never use cruise control of any kind,just doesn't feel right for me).
