Could someone let me have a pic of the bonnet catch mechanism and latch please?

 

Just had my car thumped and the bonnet now doesnt open.   I can get at the lever under the bonnet but it isnt doing anything - I can see the catch through the gap but I'm not sure how it needs to move to release - can I prod it with a screwdriver?   If so do I push it to my left?  or back? or...?

OK - sorted it out.
