Correct caliper rewind tool?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am having a friend change my rear discs and pads soon. He doesn't have the correct brake caliper rewind tool for my car. Octavia VRS MK2 2010. It'll only get use once so can anyone advise which one and where best to get it as cheap as possible

Thank you

That looks like overkill as it's for all sorts of calipers etc. But then again for the money it's better value than the £12 for a simple right handed caliper tool to do your car such as this...

I am realistically only going to use it the once so if I can get cheaper then I am all for it.

So I just need a right hand wind back tool in general or does it need a certain fitting for my car?

For example this is even cheaper...

Yep, that's the one. Same as the Laser one which is what I have.

OK so just to clarify as I am a super novice at car maintenance...

That one I linked at £7 is the 100% correct fitting and will do both left and right rear brakes?

Yep, £7 one will do both sides.

Perfect thank you so much for the advice. No point me spending more than I have to for a single use tool :)
