Hi.  I'm Tom, and I'm a Skoda owner.  On my second Superb.  First was a Superb 2.0 Diesel estate which I bought 9 months old and ran for 6 years.  Couple of months ago I changed to a SEL Executive Hatchback 1.4 TSI ACT.  As before, it was 9 months old when I bought it.  Skoda sales said it was run by one of the managers as a company car.  Changed their mind when I showed them the Youtube video of the road test with Press Office plates on it.  

 

I'm a grumpy 70yr old.  Rospa Gold and IAM and a volunteer with St John Ambulance.  Did 25 years as a first aider, but now hung up my stretcher and am District HR Officer for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

 

Off now to start working out how the forum works.  I have a query about winter wheels, but won't bother asking until I've done a lot of searching and reading.  Great to have found you guys.

Welcome along!  I hope you got a bit more off the price when you pointed out that it was a press car.  The 1.4 is a nice choice especially if you’re not going huge miles.
