Not engaging gear after start-up

Hi,

 

My wife started our 2010 CR170 (6 spd DSG) this morning.  When put into R to back out of the garage there was no drive and no engine response to the throttle. Nothing from D either. After turning the engine off and leaving it for 30-60 seconds she started again and gears engaged as normal.

 

Is this a known fault, clutch wear? or perhaps a mechatronic on the way out?

 

Our car has done 100K miles and is up to date with all servicing, including DSG oil replacement.

 

We're about to embark on a 4 week driving holiday so a little nervous!
