It was more confirming that the door panel material is optional on the SE L and Edition, but in leather, not Alcantara as thought.

 

I stuck my head through an open window of a SportLine in the local dealer. The black headlining does make the car darker inside, but offers a more sporty theme I guess. It did certainly look more premium.

 

Kids and their sticky fingers soon mark the lighter headlining so I'm on the fence.

Fortunately, mine are old enough for that not to be an issue any more. But there are plenty of simple solutions to that particular problem... don't feed the kids in the car, chop their fingers off, make them sit on their hands, tranquillise them... I could go on .
