Going Price for RS's

Featured Replies

Alright Folks,

Just wondering what you think a suitable asking price for my Octy RS would be.

2002 Octavia RS, Black, 52,000 miles, WRC rear spoiler, 4 new Toyo Tyres, REVO Stage 1, and other mods, excellent conditon throughtout.

Would it be best to return the car to standard, or sell as is?

Cheers

Hi

Personally when im looking for a car, i wouldnt touch a modded one, but if its was std then look for around £7-£7500, but leave the spoiler on, makes it that bit better than the rest :) not sure what other mods youve done.

Just to give you an idea, im going to look at one tomo which is the same, 02 with 54,000mls, this is a std car and is up for £7000 with a trader.

Hey there Si,

What are you buying ?

Alright Gaff, hoping to buy an EVO 4 or 5.

As per DGW, somewhere like Parkers can answer this more accurately. I've found them to be pretty close to the mark with the secondhand vRS I've just bought.

i bought my standard black VRS 02 plate from a skoda main dealer for £6700 2 weeks ago.

I paid just over £4K for my 01 51 Octavia vRS. 1 previous owner (company car therefore full service history) but 100K miles. Drives very well and only needed an anti-roll bar link at the service I had last week. Not even an advisory on the MOT either.
