Mk2 Octavia boot

Recommended Posts

Where abouts in the boot is it and is there only one of them?

I do not think that I have anything like that in my estate boot.

It could have been fitted by a previous owner as the exposed screw head is not something that you see much these days. Could it be for a dog guard off to secure a dog cage to the floor?

Its on the left hand side of the boot near the boot light. Yeah there's only 1 on the passengers side. However, there is also a hole in the same place on the drivers side, but this thing is missing from there.....

I dont think its for a dog cage as there is nothing else in the boot which is linked to this.

Yup, you're missing one then :)

Just to add some extra info, part numbers are:
- DMA 600 003 (hatch)
- DMA 620 003 (estate)

Edit: Just to be clear, these are the part number for the nets, not the clip.

Stock image for the hatch boot nets fitted, that fitting is for the net holding the umbrella.
