Hello, new member etc

Before I go posting too many questions I thought it best to say hello! I recently acquired a 105 project (green 1988, was on eBay) which is a bit of a road rally type affair (stripped interior, obligatory bucket seats and spoiler etc) but with standard running gear. I've just finished the recommissioning work and should be MOT'd this week, ready to keep the winter blues at bay!

I will be looking to change things such as the engine/drivetrain/chassis in the not too distant future so keep me in mind if you are looking to sell any such parts :)

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Little Steve, Good to hear you have a project to keep you occupied through the winter. I am a new Member but if you have a quick look at my profile you will see I'm pushing on with restoring a Group A 130 Estelle Rally Car. I'm searching for parts too so will keep an eye on what you need when posted! 130Rallyjohn

Cheers Rally John,

I've got the old beauty on the road now and should be collecting a few bits on the weekend but apparently the Skoda should be my smallest priority at the moment, double glazing and heating are more important!?

Steve

@LittleSteve Hiya. Ok, I can see heating as more important than a "hobby car", but double glazing in February!!?

HI! Clearly our priorities differ from our better half's! I have just had a good look through the parts listing at www.skopart.de  looks to me I can get at least 90% of the running parts I need there and the pricing and shipping looks fair! I know there are other parts and for Motorsport outfits in Czech and Germany, just need to find out contact details for them. Keep that "Hobby" going!
