Radio codes

Featured Replies

Felicia LXi 1996.

Just had work done & radio is dead; needs code & we don't have it. Is this a main dealer only job?

TIA & apologies if already answered elsewhere.

Hi Mate

Dealers will charge you a fortune for that.

In fact they would have to go to Blaupunk or the manufacturer.

Where I live there is a little car spares shop who can do it.

If you look in the local papers you could find someone who could come out to do it at your house and they are cheaper.

But check your handbook to see if it is in there.

It is a 4 number code.

Check all round the books.

Also I have known for people to write it on the chassis so it could be worth checking that too.

just got my code from skoda dealer, cost

Hi Mate

Mmmm , that is quite good

It only takes a few mins and it does not cost the dealer anything to do it , but I have seen some charge a fortune for it

It depends where you go

Not bad though , well done

Sarah

But remember the thread was started (an age ago) about the Felicia and Skoda do not keep records for all the factory/dealer fitted headunits. Some Blaupunkt and Grundig steroes will have to be decoded or replaced.
