Rear seat base removal

Featured Replies

Hi first post just picked up superb mk2 estate and need some photos of the rear seat base, the front of the base doesn’t seem to be secure and can’t see how it should be fixed. Any help much appreciated. Andy

Hi no photo's but the lower portion "clips" into place it may be that the seat belt anchors are fouling on the cut outs. this could prevent correct location...it does take some force as it is a sort of cantilever mechanism. Lift the front edge and then pull up and out, there could even be something under the seat swab preventing the swab from fully closing there should be a thin carpet covering hope this helps.
