Dashboard End Panel

Featured Replies

Just a quick one..... Going to be fitting a dashcam to our Citigo after crimbo and wanted to know if the panel at the driver's end of the dashboard can be easily removed. I'm thinking of placing the 12v socket in there, like i have done on my Superb, so that it's just above the fuse box in the Citigo etc.... I didn't want to go forcing it and breaking it if it's not easily removed / put back. (On the Superb the fuse box is behind it so it's pretty easy to remove and put back etc....)

I've attached a pic of the panel in question.....

Cheers.

Cheers mi dears.

Yes on the Superb it's easy to pop off..... There is a small slit along the edge of the panel for a screwdriver to fit in so as to prise it open to access the fuse box.

I popped it off when I positioned an OBD tracker up behind the dash on an OBD extension cable on the lad's car

My lad popped it off when he realised that I had positioned an OBD tracker up behind the dash on an OBD extension cable

As above, if you feel at the bottom you'll feel the hole that you can put a screw driver in to pop it in :)

It's the same width as the key blade. Handy, that.
