It's time I sorted my boot dampers out......the boot is a dead weight.....I've ordered some off eBay.......just want to check is there anything I need to do to remove them ..I don't want to be ham fisted and bust something..any advice welcome me

Undo the clips before trying to pry them off and they're springs, not dampers.

Just done mine. The cold weather seemed to see the original ones off. Very easy to replace, they come off dead easy once you have prised the clips off. The new ones simply press on with clips already pre-fitted. Tailgate is fantastic now - practically opens itself!
