F & R brakes on drivers side?

Featured Replies

I have an issue with my brakes but this time both the front and rear brakes on drivers side are sticking.

I noticed something wasn't right whilst driving and checked the wheels as this has been corrected on different wheels a few times over the years.

Unusually though this time as both the wheels were hot on drivers side. Front was quite warm (touching alloy wheel / not discs which were hot),  rear was warm-ish, but the other sides were cold, and so were the discs on this side. Brakes hardly used at this point.

Is this an indication of something specific, ie master cylinder or something alike, or just possibly a strange coincidence it happening to both on one side at the same time?

Thanks for any advice.

Probably sticking pads/calipers/pistons. The brakes need to be stripped and cleaned properly. Retract the pistons to check they are not stuck. And the fluid replaced if it hasnt been done in the last 2 or 3 years max. After reassembly, bleed the system.
