Very nice! All these race blue cars appearing, makes me wonder if I should have had one. Never mind, I feel like the only (Quartz) Grey in the village ;)

I wanted a quartz grey one but ended up with Corrida Red, there were no suitable Quartz grey available, in manual petrol, 2015/2016 which was what I wanted at the time, it went in for its first service and there was on on the forecourt. Still I think mine was a bargain 6 months old under 5000 miles for £19000. Quartz is still my favourite though.

Very nice car Mr. r_sole! I very nearly wandered up to Helensburgh recently to see this one at Autopoint: https://www.autopointautosdunbartonshire.co.uk/used-skoda-octavia-argyll-and-bute-dunbartonshire-1367786 - It's not yours is it?

not mine no, did see that one in their garelochhead branch right enough but didn't want a diesel...

Think they've had it a while maybe if it's the same one, maybe worth a cheeky offer!?

Pics not great, but is that a canton hiding in the boot (on the left)?

I did think about it, but I wanted one with the Amundsen (nav) and the one at Autopoint doesn't have that. @dunc69 yes it does have a Canton !

In the end I've ended up going about the same distance from me the other way and bought one from Eastbourne. It's being delivered tomorrow. Black vRS with Nav and winter pack, which is a rare beastie.

New hatchbag installed, impressed with the fit of the thing, just need a few other bits and it'll be kid and dog proof!

I do like a Hatchbag, I keep thinking of getting one for mine but I don’t really need one until I decide if I having another Dog or not. Still haven’t made mine chid proof properly haha. Thanks for the waste bin btw, got it fitted and in use :)

Another bizarre coincidence - my Hatchbag arrived today too! I haven't fitted it yet though.

@dunc69 pic of mine (just one so far) over at

I'm trying not to clutter this thread :)

Oh by the way if you're still looking for a rubber boot liner, I can recommend Superskoda. I got a vRS logo'd one and it's really chunky and rugged. I intend to install this over my hatchbag for when I'm carrying oily/dirty/heavy stuff, which I regularly do!

Got the vRS boot mat from them and it was way too big?? Threw in my old Golf Estste one and it was perfect.

That sounds pretty good, I think I'm going to stick the old dogs bed in to keep him comfy!

Rubber mat under the kid might be a better idea!

How strange! That's the one I got and it fits fine. Mind you I don't have the variable floor - maybe you do?

That could be it!!!!

I got around to installing my Hatchbag earlier - well impressed! I've gone for a few extras - including the bumper protector, the tailgate cover, and the extra little flap that goes over the seats. Cost a lot of money, but well worth it, as I've just had to tak a load of soggy cardboard another crap down to the tip!

vRS rubber mat came from Superskoda. Impressed with that too, but I'm easily pleased! :D

Looks good that, I went for the boot door cover but got one of the bumper protectors on order so didn't go with the flap...

My back seats already have a waterproof cover on them too!

My next bit of the plan is going to be getting a bonnet lift damper kit, can't believe that it doesn't have one! Took me a while to figure out why it seemed something was wrong opening the bonnet!

On my mod list too, didn’t think I’d bother but I have had the bonnet up a few times and it’s a really heavy bonnet! Can’t believe they didn’t spend the extra few £ on a pair of struts!

I don't mind the "keep fit" bonnet to be honest. Was a surprise how heavy it was though!
