Superb mk2 : Adding aftermarket head unit

Featured Replies

Hello folks, i have a question and im sorry if this is wrong section.

Anyways, i bought for my superb a new headunit with android 7.1

The only problem is that there is no sound, the car has stock amplifier and thats the case, whats should i do? New head unit has amp remote but but :D what options do i have? Bypassing amp with connecting in and out wires or where i can find stock amp remote ?

Thanks for your time and big loves to same car lovers

There isn't a remote power on the stock amp, it's all done by CAN-bus. You could ask the seller you bought the android headunit from if it's possible to use your amp but I doubt you'll get very far.

Some people claim to have gotten the stock amp to work some how but I've can't remember seeing a how to or decent instructions.

Other options are to bypass the amp or replace it with an aftermarket one.
