Not my Toledo that's already got Dab but my other car, I want to get Dab without a great deal of expense.

Anyone got one fitted?  I didn't really want to pay out more than the above, yep I know it's cheapo from Hong Kong etc they do have some good stuff too.

 

Anything available I haven't managed to hit upon yet around the same price point that will work ok.

 

In the other car (MX-5) I've already got a reasonably new aftermarket head unit that does BT and has USB  for tunes etc, I just want Dab radio now without changing out the HU again.

 

 

I found a decent Pioneer with DAB for £100 at halfords sale a couple of years back and fitting was only 20 minutes work.

 

Current model on Amazon at £127.  Probably less effort to fit than the little aftermarket Chinese one you're looking at.

Also it's in the UK unlike your ebay item. I don't like to order cheap electronics any more from HongKong/Shenzen/Guangzhao - when it breaks there's no sending it back!

I know what you mean about the cheapo stuff from China etc, it's a chance you take. I bought a dash cam £25 from there, whilst not top quality it does the job and works ok after a few little gremlins initially.

 

I need a DD radio anyway but don't want to change what I have in there.

 

 

The annoying thing is the car already had Dab hooked up to the OEM head unit but I ripped it out and sold it when I changed to the above HU saying I can do without it, now I  want it again.

Well I hope it works. The last item I ordered from Shenzhen lasted 2 weeks. I might as well have just burned 3 tenners.
