Wheel nuts

Featured Replies

Evening folks and happy new year.i have just bought a set of steel wheels with winter tyres but I'm not sure about whether I can just use the existing nuts,I have been looking on line and have seen some that can be used with either steel or alloy wheels.i thought I would have to purchase a new set but a bit confused now.what do you think?

Hi, it’s my understanding that different wheel nuts are required. I don’t know the why’s and wherefores mind you but I’m sure someone else will!

If you fitted a Steel Spare Wheel you would use the bolts that are on the car.

Unless you have bought steel wheels with a different profile of seating from VW Group wheels the cars wheel bolts will be fine.
