Skoda Fabia vRS MK1 clunking and clicking noises when turning and on rough roads.

Featured Replies

Hi guys, this is my first post so please redirect me if I'm in the wrong place for posting etc.

I have a Skoda Fabia vRS 2005 model and only bought it the other day, the car is in great condition with only 52000 miles, its got a few issues as the last owner wrote it off.

One of the problems is that the the car makes a slight clunking/clicking noise, sounds plasticy almost at the front end of the car whenever I turn corners in second gear and usually going over rough patches of road.

Im sure its not a huge issue but if anyone had any advice as to of what I could do to identify what it is more specifically or how to stop it that'd be great.

Cheers!

+1 for drop links

@BrotherBernies - As other drop links, or possibly a broken front spring right up at the pig ear.

Drop links, mine had one replaced in the garage over Xmas, the part was circa £20
