Change total miles, trip miles etc. from MPH to KPH

Featured Replies

Hi,
I've done a fair amount of research to reach several conclusions that might help with a solution. My Octy doesn't seem to have a Maxidot display on the dashboard, but has a MFI. The steering wheel is the basic one, so the function buttons are on the right wiper lever. I have the rocker and the reset button on the bottom of it.
I've used VCDS to change the speedo so as to show a km/h gauge as well, but on the small rectangular screen on the middle, MPH is still shown. I'll put a picture below of my dashboard
I'm welcome to Ideas on how to change it to KMH.

have you tried to change the country in the coding

Germany should be Kms

Yes, I have. That, however, appears only to affect the maxidot display on the speedo and not the other display in the middle.

odd normally would work

Try other variations

also have a look at the adaptions

I have tried putting it on 0 for Germany, 1 for Europe and 3 for Canada. Does not work on either settings. I've read further on this forum that the VCDS setting isn't supposed to change the label and number on the display in the middle, but only on the speedo and that the one in the middle is set via some sort of menu you access via the switches I mentioned above. Problem is, I think that only apllies to maxidot displays, since I cannot access such a thing, irregardless of whether the car is on or off.
