VW Polo 1.9 GT

Featured Replies

Hi all

Been a member for a while, lurker really reading up. What did everyone's opinions on a Polo GT with the 130 lump in? Found one for 2500 with 95000 miles that I like.

Any opinions appreciated

It's a VRS in a dress. Next.

Edit: That's strong money but they are fairly rare so, if it ain't broke, buy it.

If you like it then BUY IT!!

As said above the ibiza fr/sport / fabia vrs and polo gt are basically the same underneath

Body/styling is obviously different and 3 or 5 doors so weight changes very slightly.

Suspension and drivetrain are same

They seem quite rare the polo 1.9gt compared to the vrs or maybe just cant spot them out on the road as much as the fabia

Find me a decent fabia vrs/polo gt/Ibiza fr under 100k for under 2300k....... been looking everywhere. Want a car with less than 100k as plan to keep it for years.

Mileage doesn't matter, look at history and condition, if you get a higher mileage model with full history and receipts for clutch and turbo then you're buying a better car.

Must just be a personal thing, but I dont like buying high mileage cars.

You're the motor trades dream punter, prepared to pay over the odds for something of no real value on a car over 10 years old.
