Hi all i was wondering if anyone can help me i have vibratechniques engine mounts but my engine is starting to look like its dropped on the gearbox side. Can anyone show me a pic of there engine bay or clarify if this angle is normal.

@Dans..vrs....octavia - Dunno about the engine cant, but the purple erection across the engine bay looks twisted.

Engine does look a bit low on the gearbox side. There are plenty of engine bay pics if you do a Google image search.

 

Can't see anything wrong with the strut brace.

Ive downloaded about 30 pics off google search but im strugling to work it out some pics look straight some look at an angle so im not sure whats right or wrong! 

 

Would you have time to measure yours from a certain point please tom so i can compare?

@Dans..vrs....octavia - Look at the pictures; you can see more of the plate on the LH strut tower than you can of the right one.

It's probably an S3/TT strut brace that has been painted. They're supposed to be that shape, have a look on Google images or eBay and you'll see what I mean.
