Featured Replies

Hi,

Could anyone advise how to remove the real light cluster on a 67 plate Octavia vRS estate please?

Can I be nosy enough to ask why on a new car?

Hi Lyminton

Thanks but thats not type I have. There seems to be a push lever where the two bolts are but it wont budge. I know the unit is not held on by bolts as it popped out due to....

Hi YMe

The reason I ask is I had my car two days and lorry drove into the back and caused a lot of damage. The near side rear light cluster came off completely and ended up in the road, cracked but in one peice. I've just had the vehical back and a bulb warning light comes on and goes off so either the connection is a bit iffy or the bulb is. I'm not going to take it back to the repair shop as it's a three hours drive from where I live.

It's very easy to remove. I've got a 2016 vRS but I assume it's similar on the '17.

One large bolt to remove which exposes a further two. Then it lifts upwards and out. Mine is like the video posted earlier.

The manual doesn't show any difference between hatch and estate.
