I wonder if the new improved car that has been announced will actually be called Octavia. The reason I wonder is, I remember looking at the Skoda web site a few months after I had bought my first Skoda Felicia. It had pictures of the soon to be released face lifted Felicia, and also of the Felicia Mark 2. The Felicia Mark 2 when actually produced was and is sold as the Fabia. Skoda seem to vchange the name of the vehicle with any major change unlike makes like Ford that use a name for a size class rather than a certain car (the last Escorts had very little in common with the first for example).
