Hey guys,

Today, I lifted the bonnet to do an oil check and to top up the screen wash.

 

long story short, the air intake top cover is missing. I can’t find it on the undertray.. any recommendations?

Any recommendations on how to get another fairly quickly?

Do you mean the plastic lid over the top of the air intake (pictured under my wrist)?

 

Was it there last time you opened the bonnet? It is unlikely to escape if it's fallen off with the bonnet closed. Might be worth jacking the car up and dropping the engine under-tray.

It had a major service and MOT back in December but I’m sure I would’ve noticed last week when I topped the wiper fluid up..

 

i believe its more a recent thing but because of my mileage; it could be anywhere.

 

its the small plastic £3.79 thing you’ve brought up. Are they a universal fit?
