Glass cover for daytime running lights

Featured Replies

Hi all,

i need just a replacement glass cover for a fabia VRS for the daytime running lights.

im aware I can buy a whole light for £70 but the glass cover with black plastic trim simply comes off with a few clips.

is it possible just to buy this part?

Not to my knowledge.

The plastic trim comes off and lets you take off the unit,

you do not need to pay £70 for a used one on Ebay unless there is some shortage and none left unbroken being sold used.

If you find one cheap, I need the LED DRL part as the PCB on my MKII VRS is corroded. Don't need the housing.

As yet can not locate any on eBay that are used.

its around £70 for the whole unit from Skoda.

I've found one, how's £14 delivered? I'll send you the glass and front housing.

phil08,

?

Did you price a new DRL/ Sidelight unit at a Skoda Main Dealers parts desk,

or think of a wanted ad in a car forum, one like BRISKODA maybe.

Have you taken off the trim put clear tape over the clear plastic to seal it & put the trim back on ?
