I am wondering is it possible to get performance screen coded in to the car?

Not from what I’ve read. As a substitute, download the Škoda OneApp. It has all manor of performance related info.

    Ok thanks i give it a try. 

    Which means you must have CarPlay or MirrorLink active to see the live data. That's one thing that is missing from the in-built Vehicle data on the infotainment unit.

    What can I do to get live data enabled?

    Connect phone with OneApp via USB and it should give you the screen to then select the app on the screen which should allow you to select the widget
