Parents live in ultimate snob land.Plenty of X5's, mercs etc but mainly mini drivers.Loads of them.Partly due to the nearby BMW garage but it is still a sight to see.Sterotype city we call it.

Then we saw the lady in the leathered up 55 plate Skoda Fabia vRS in Black Magic.Looked flipping lovely.Sparklingly clean despite the weather:eek:

I really do reckon there is a special appeal about them.Maybe she wanted to be a bit different.

I happened to mention at work that I was selling SWMBO's car to a colleague.

He went 'yeah they are ok them Skoda's but the resale value drops like a stone!!'

Once I had shown him the Auto Express new car guide which lists the Fabia vRS as having a 3yr retained value of 52%, the Polo TDi 130 Sport 3yr retained value of 43% and the SEAT Ibiza TDi 130 FR 3yr retained value of 44% he looked rather bemused.
