EPC light related problem

Help please

I left lights on flattening battery 

after charging the EPC and engine management light came on and the car started to rev weirdly and cut out on braking 

garage said lambda sensor needed replacing and air manifold sensor

Driving back from garage EPC returned and same problem

also smells more of fuel I think when starting engine

any advice would be much appreciated 

it’s a 1.4 ambience 16v
