Monte Carlo pulling left - fixed!!

Featured Replies

I spoke to the guys at super pro and they put me touch with a great local dealer and fitter down the road from me, I didn’t even know the garage existed!

i had the caster correction kit fitted, this is an offset bushing placed on the left hand suspension and a normal bushing on the right hand side.  Took 90mins and cost me £180 including the kit and vat and cups of tea.  The before alignment figures showed that the left and right caster was different by over 1degree and the caster kit aims to bring that back to zero and eliminate the drift that the alignment can not adjust.

the difference after was quite noticeable on flat roads with the pull to the left virtually gone, I say virtually, because the Mk2 Monte Carlo seems to love going where ever the slightest road camber falls.

anyway, if you’ve tried tyres and multiple alignments like me, give the super caster correction kit a whirl.  I’m going to get the eibach springs and rear anti roll bar fitted next week.
