Skoda Octavia 1.6 cr tdi elegance estate, noisy turbo.

Featured Replies

Just after a general bit of info tbh, my car has 80000 miles fdsh and is driven normally.

the turbo has started to make a little siren noise, generally when the car is cold.

has anybody had to have a turbo change on the above car? How much did you pay  for replacement turbo fitting etc.

Thanks in advance for any help/info.

Since your car has Full Dealer Service History does this mean you have had The Fix', so new Engine Management and a piece of plastic tat in the Intake.

Could this be the issue, so one that will cost you nothing as VW Group can pay to sort things?

No it’s not had “the fix” as I categorically refused to have it done after reading some of the stories.

thanks for asking though :-)
