K&N Sportfilter for a rs 245?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm awaiting a delivery for a RS 245 and searching for a K&N filter for the vehicle... Since it's fairly new, I cannot find the filter somewhere on internet.. Is it the same filter as for the 230 hp versions?

Yes

I wouldn’t bother changing as there is very little performance gain, more maintenance and doesn’t filter fine particle dust as well as the standard paper filter.

Also not sure on the octavia but a few years back on a 65 plate corsa VXR was told k and n panel filters not good for MAF cause of oil used on them. I ended up getting a ram air panel (dry) filter on corsa for the 11 months I had it. Induction sounded louder but didn't make any difference to performance.
