Any clue what this is........

Featured Replies

I found this in the drivers foot well of my 2014 F/L Yeti earlier and can't for the life of me think where it might have come from.

It's made out of soft(ish) black rubber and appears to have been glued on originally.

Anyone have any idea where it's become detached from, or is it not part of the Yeti??

Placing a coin next to it might give us a better idea of it’s dimensions

rubber inside the drivers door handle (the bit you pull to open the door)

What gyp said

I stuck mine back on with contact adhesive, it has to be positioned correctly as there is no chance to slide it a bit with that.

I had the same with Mk I Octavia I owned some years ago. One morning I found a relatively large spring in the foot well. Everything appeared to work normally and for the life of me I couldn't see where it had come from.  I left it in the glove box for several months, before reading a "whats this" post on the Mk I forum and realising it was from the seat base.
