Thoughts/knowledge of lowering with DCC

Featured Replies

Has anybody lowered a car with DCC ?

Wouldn't mind lowering mine but, I'm not sure how the DCC will take it.

Year ago I've researched DCC plus lowering springs, and majority of owners regretted, mostly Seat and VW owners. Seems position change of damper in neutral position needs some sort of calibration nobody is doing. My final decision is not to go forward with this idea, although initially I've planned to put Prokits, as I loved them on Alfa.

A result of my research was that only thing which makes sense as a DCC upgrade is compatible coilover. There are products which are fully compatible with DCC central plus they allow change of ride height. Maybe this is the direction you should point your thinking.

See muzza80 post below. Think recalibration is required.
