I was due to have a remap for my scoda Yeti 1.9tdi.

I had the upgrade done in October 2016, after a week i started having the dreaded trouble. i was told by the dealer that it would cost £900.

it has got very bad this last month, so i  booked it in for a remap to try to get rid of the problem. I was due to take it in on Mongay 12thFeb, they just phoned asnd told me that I would need a rollback to the old codes that were on the car. They also mentioned that i cannot have the DPF switched off, and if i did the ministry can take the vehicle for defeat .

Anyone know where i can get a good firm to do a rollback of the codes.  (URGENT)

i understand what you are asking,   

 There was no 'Upgrade'  there was 'The Fix',  a voluntary thing.

Is it a 2.0 TDI Yeti you have, no 1.9TDI ones?

 

So you have a 'trust building measure; 24 month guarantee from VW / Skoda if your car is now playing up, 

as for £900,  no idea what that is all about, 

what employee at what Dealership was telling you that?

 

VW are paying to sort your Yeti not you if their Engine Management has caused adverse affects.

 

 

 

but that other stuff on a 'consultation', 

 what is that about, who is Consulting, MP's, DfT DVSA,   where did you get that info.

Had my Rapid 1.6 TDI rollback 2 weeks ago by Sunderland Performance Center what a difference engine so much quieter  .a lot more smoother quicker and lot more miles to the gallon rally happy with it
