Thanks to the group after loosing faith with the old girl and diesel problems and changing to a newer unleaded version

from the group in the last week I have found out that I have

  • heated mirrors
  • folding mirrors
  • parclel shelf folds behind rear seat
  • i have Bluetooth:biggrin: on the bolero and now connected
  • you can set 2 speed warnings

now for the wish list preferably without any software update

  • clock on the radio so passangers can see time
  • mph showing instead of Khm on mid display

Are the last 2 possible

All things are possible, allegedly..!

If you have Maxidot then you will need someone with VCDs to program the dash. IIRC they tell it to read in Australian then you get the option of a big MPH on the screen between your clocks and you can turn it on and off with Maxidot. I have had it done as well as a few other goodies. There are a few VCDs people around the North East, you can ask on here and on another forum. I got my contact on here and there is a list if you search for it.

I seem to remember a while ago that somebody else wanted a clock showing on the radio and found that the only way to achieve this is to change the head unit.

just a tad clumsy on your wrist though, but I always fancied the "Man for U.N.C.L.E." pen radio/transmitter, but don't think it told the time .... now, "open channel D" :tongueout:
