Lights

Featured Replies

Hello. Just purchased 10 month old octavia. It's a 1.4 se. I have a couple of questions about the lights:

The side lights are dimmer than the daytime running lights- is this normal?

When operating the light switch dial, the dial does not illuminate to illustrate that the dipped beam lights are on (only illuminates for side lights)- is this normal?

My final question (sorry) is about a Service book- should this be supplied with the car if it's only 10 months old, or is this something the skoda dealership will give us when the car has its first service?

Many thanks,

Becs

Yes all these are normal. The service book is now electronic. Although there should be a handbook. If there isn't one then it's in the Skoda app.

If you have an owners manual, this explains all the symbols. It's worth reading through.

Not having a stamped service manual is poor, but I am keeping my service receipts as back up proof. When you go out of the Skoda dealer servicing, then the fun will begin.
