Update: i have loosened the two bolts that should hold the glass too the window mech, the two that you can see thru the two round inspection holes in the door panel

BUT

the glass still feels like it remains attached to something. I thought it would just pull up and out with them two bolts removed ??

The rubber grippers are probably just sticking to the glass. drop the mech down and you should be able to pull the rubber off the glass allowing it to lift out.

Hello thanks for the help

do you mean the rubber grippers holding the glass to the mech or the inner and outer rubber window  trim that runs along the door (where you elbow would rest if you were driving with window was open lol)

DONE IT!

it was stuck on the rubber grips holding glass to window mech

put the regulator back on to stop window lifting and then a little wd40 on the grippers and it just slid out

thanks
