Joined yesterday in preparation for getting my license back after a six month ban for accumulating twelve points......oh yes and of course, in preparation for picking up my vRS on April 10th !!!

I'm getting her from Irvine in Bridgewater as the guys in Exeter where I live aren't that flexible and didn't want to give me any discount. Irvine gave me the silver metallic paint and cruise control extras, then knocked off 1000 quid - so I'm getting it for £11,785. They have second hand ones on the forecourt for more than that!

Anyway, Irvine rang me last week and asked if I'd like to go and see my car that I can't drive for another 5 weeks, and to choose my registration number!

Can't bloody wait to get it - you don't know what it's like to have been driving for 25 years and then not be able to for 6 months

I may even have to sell my V8 P6 rover as I fear she may become a little neglected!
