Fabia MK3 courtesy car

Featured Replies

Hello, i don't normally stray into these parts as i own an Octy mk 2 fl, but must say pleasentley surprised with how good the car is.

The DSG box is nice and the tiny engine is pretty gutsy.

All in all quite impressed.

So it was a 1.0 110 tsi? Was it noisy? How was acceleration?

Don't know if it was the 110 or 95, felt gutsy enough and my own octy has 160ps. not noisy even when pushed into the high revs (i didn't take it to the red line as it only had 1200 miles on the clock), acceleration was quite brisk, not a patch on my car but more then enough for town use, and pretty decent for motorway use.

If i can swing my mums leg's into one (she's disabled and can't really use her legs) then i may look into purchasing one instead of an Octy 3 FL, in a year or two's time,

Which ever way i go (Octy or Fabia,) it will be DSG, as i don't want manual, as being an MOT tester i am for ever pumping a clutch pedal up and down, driving on and off the ramp and brake rollers
