Dog guard

Featured Replies

Anyone have a genuine skoda fixing kit they no longer require? Left behind in old car and want to pass guard on. Have the 4 screws. Thanks

Seems it cannot be ordered despite manual listing part no.

Did you have any luck in finding the fitting kit anywhere? I just bought a second hand Skoda dog guard for my scout not realising the issue with the fitting kit. If I had known I would have just bought from Travall as their guards are very good and no hassle to fit!

Part no. is 5E9 017 737.

Hi

thanks for that, I did see that thread and will be calling into my dealer down here in Cornwall to see if they can order it for me and hopefully fit it when/if it arrives. Such a faff though thought the original Skoda part would be better and easy to use. Which it probably is if ordered new!

I call this a wife guard.

Hi all

I had no success getting a full fixing kit. Interesting you can get it from Czech republic. I still have the guard so if anyone wants to buy it make me a sensible offer including delivery costs of course!

Well I have just ordered one from carrs Skoda for £20 and now just trying to see if they will fit it for me as I bought the scout as a used approved from them so hopefully they will!
