Paddle shift steering wheel

I want to fit a paddle shift wheel to my Yeti.

Which ones fit?  I have a 2011 CR140. 

Looks like Fabia VRS Mk2 fits but, i like the look of the Mk3 octavia.

Any ideas?

If you do a search you will find a long improvement thread where this was one of many improvements done.

Not as easy as you would think as can be caught out with incorrect connectors and the car needs coding to know it is there.

I am aware there may be a different canbus set up on FL cars and backlight changes on buttons also the coding issue.

I wish to know which steering wheels are suitable. its a bit confusing as no one seems to have a definitive list to steering wheel model compatability.

You might want to start with a VCDS autoscan to see what your car is made of.

Steering controller (address 16) would be a good start but a full autoscan is always useful when looking to retrofit/change things

i will try and find a vcds to check.
