Goodbye VRS.

Featured Replies

After nearly 8 years of almost faultless ownership yesterday was finally the day to say goodbye. Now have a nice new Superb 280 parked on the drive instead.

It's good to know that your vRS was a reliable companion.  As for your new car, I've been looking at these in estate form for when replacement time comes for us.  I'd be interested to know your first impressions.

The first impressions of the Superb are great. Very quiet and refined drive. Going to take a bit of time to get used to the dsg but sure that will come. Not gone that quick in it yet but certainly has some grunt when you push the accelerator. The toys in the superb are great too. I have the SEL now so a different look but great to have a real sleeper car. Glad I made the change and the kids love the extra room in the rear too. The boot space is identical pretty much to the Octavia with it being slightly narrower in the Superb at the very rear but then an inch or so longer. I know this as I have used the boot liner that I had in the Octavia.
