I know the spare wheel question has been asked many times but I’m wondering if spare wheel no. 1j0601027m would fit an Octavia VRS? It is an 18” spare but I don’t know if it would go over the brakes ok?

18 inches will be fine. My car has the 340mm front brakes and 18 inch wheels. Don’t think you can go any smaller though.

I bought a spacesaver with this part number off eBay. It DID NOT fit my Mk3 2015 VRS. The PCD on the spacesaver is too narrow (the wheel has 5x100 where as the Vrs has 5x112) and it did not fit around the caliper.

I bought a full size Gemini alloy which I know will fit.

1997, white. Two donor cars in its history, a yellow one so probably a fun and a red one, which I think was a 4 door. It's been sitting in an industrial unit for 12 year, one owner from new, some welding evident to rear turrets and 'most of the flatbed' Needs welding on the front upper wing supports and to the windscreen frame. Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

I was never happy with the performance of the original brakes. The braking efficiency felt poor, and in wet weather the discs would quickly develop surface rust. When braking in damp or rainy conditions, the noise made it sound like I was driving an old car with worn-out brakes. After 50,000 km, I decided to replace the brakes.
