Picked up our Karoq SEL on Friday, and still learning how things work. I have set up Skoda connect, but I’m wondering how the app works. I believe the app on my phone can tell me the fuel level and location etc. When I try the app says “Calling Appsmartgate” but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?! The car is parked outside the house locked up. 

Just discovered I will need a ‘car stick’ at £130 and a SIM card. I think I’ll give that a miss!
