I have the full Blueflame exhaust and just recently a rattle has appeared when the engine idles. It sounds as if there is a small stone in the tailpipe but then it would rattle at any rpm. Has anyone else had this?

Have you checked the heat shield? It may have come lose and is rattlering against the exhaust?

yes i had the same it was the heat shield catching when the exhaust gets hot i presume it expands a little . when i had the oil changed i had a look underneath and it was very tight on one side to the heat shield so i put some padding in between the exhaust and heat shield and that stopped it.

Thanks, I will hhave a look for the heatshield. My only concern is yes it only happens once the engine has been running for a while, if I hold the rpm's to around 1000rpm the noise dis-appears if it let it drop to idle 500-750rpm the noise re-appears.
